还记得小时候窝在饭桌前看着外婆阿姨们忙着为佳节做糕点,
那热热闹闹的情景一一浮现我眼前,
身为游子的我,想吃只好东东手了,嘻嘻~
This Chinese dessert reminds me of home, the moment we share our happiness, our thought.
The moment you bite into it, as sweet as the feeling of home~
It's an easy dessert to make.
食谱:
220gm 番薯 (我喜欢软软的,所以增加了番薯)
100gm 糯米粉
10gm 玉米粉
适量椰糖(在perth暂时还没找到马六甲的椰糖)
椰丝(适量给与外层)
Ingredients:
220 gm red sweet potato
100 gm glutinous rice flour
10gm cornflour
Small amount or palm sugar for each ball
desiccated coconut to coat the 'ondeh-ondeh'
做法
1。将番薯蒸熟至软。待它稍微温时用叉子压碎加入粉类。
2。根据面团的适度掌控,如果觉得太干就加点点水。
3。将面团分配后,在压扁。
4。把椰糖分别包进。
5。烧锅热水,待滚后将它一粒粒放进,小心轻放。
6。尽量别让它们粘起来,轻轻地用勺搅搅。
7。浮起来就表示熟了,关火后待2-5分钟在拿起。
8,先用抹油的盘子放, 再用另一个碗放椰丝将它们裹起。
Method:
1.Cut the potato into cube and Steam the sweet potato by using medium heat,bout 15 mins it will be cook, or it may need longer time accordingly. Till it's cool, smash with a fork or potato smasher.
2. Add in the glutinous rice flour and corn flour to the smashed potato. Then knead into a dough. According to your own dough to control the moisture of it, if it's too dry, slowly add in some water.
3. Equally divide the dough into small round shape n press it to form a slightly circle shape. Wrap some amount of palm sugar with each dough portion. Knead into a small ball and keep it aside till you complete all of them.
4. Boil a large bowl of water. Place the ball carefully into the hot water. (P/S: If your pot is too small for all of them, cook in two batches to avoid sticking all together.) To avoid sticking, slowly stir the ball. Once the ball is cooked, it will float to the surface, Switch off the heat and simmer for another 2-5 minutes.
5. Remove the balls onto a lightly greased plate. Don't stack them together as they are still soft.
6. Now coat all of them with the desiccated coconut on a small bowl.
TADAAAA YOU ARE DONE WITH IT! TIME TO ENJOY!!!
